The community school offers a wide array of continuing education classes for adults, as well as a set of classes for children. It is a non-profit enterprise sponsored and administered by the Board of Education with the cooperation of the Fair Lawn Community School Advisory Council. The school is self-sustaining and operates at no expense to taxpayers. Mayor Joseph Tedeschi is the school's director.
Classes are on weeknights during the evening hours. Offerings are in arts and crafts, business skills, community law, fitness and sports/dance, language arts, special interests, and theater, among other areas.
