Dr. Yasmina Ahmed is a specialty trained otolaryngology - head and neck surgeon providing a wide spectrum of otolaryngology care. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Pennsylvania and subsequently earned her medical degree at the University of Nevada. During her surgical residency training at the highly esteemed Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center, Dr. Ahmed received innovative training from nationally recognized leaders in head and neck cancer surgery, ear surgery, throat surgery, as well as nose and sinus surgery. Dr. Ahmed has published numerous peer-reviewed articles and has given presentations at national otolaryngology conferences. She is currently the chief resident at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center and she will join the ENT division of NJ Eye and Ear in Englewood, NJ and Clifton, NJ starting in August 2021. Dr. Ahmed will provide care to the full spectrum of Ear, Nose, and Throat disorders treating both adult and pediatric patients. She has a specialized interest in treating nose and sinus conditions, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and pediatric otolaryngology surgery. She strives to provide patient-centered compassionate care to her patients. In her recent medical mission, Dr. Ahmed cared for medically underserved cleft lip and palate patients in Bangalore, India.
