Founded in 1978, Ross University is an international school that provides medical education programs. The university operates a school of medicine and a school of veterinary medicine. The school of medicine, which has graduated 4,500-plus doctors, is affiliated with more than 45 teaching hospitals in the United States, which provide students with clinical rotations. The school is approved by the licensing boards in New York, New Jersey, California and Florida. The school of veterinary medicine provides students with clinical training through more than 20 American Veterinary Medical Association affiliates. The school has graduated 1,600-plus veterinarians. Ross University s medical school s campus is located in Dominica. Students also attend a semester of classes at the school s location in Miami. The university s veterinary campus is on the island of St. Kitts in the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis. Ross University is headquartered in Edison, N.J.
