As a human service agency of State of New Jersey, the New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities, also known as NJCDD, offers educational, health care and legal advocacy services for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. It advocates for same rights, privileges, responsibilities and opportunities for people with disabilities. The council offers job search skills development training, as well as work exploration, resume development and follow-up services. It conducts networking skills development and interview techniques improvement workshops and provides job coaching, sampling and development services. The New Jersey Council on Developmental Disabilities also funds projects to inform decision makers, legislators and the general public regarding developmental disabilities.
