History
Sun National Bank Center opened on October 6, 1999. Over the past 14 years, the Arena has hosted international music sensations like Cher, Bruce Springsteen, Shania Twain, Elton John and Luciano Pavarotti; top sports events such as the 2006 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball First and Second Rounds and 2009 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Trenton Regional; and family-friendly entertainment like the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and The Harlem Globetrotters. The Sun National Bank Center is owned by the Mercer County Improvement Authority and is managed by Global Spectrum, the fastest growing firm in the public assembly facility management field with more than 115 facilities throughout the United States and Canada. The Philadelphia-based company is part of one of the world's largest sports and entertainment companies, Comcast-Spectacor, which also owns the Philadelphia Flyers of the National Hockey League.

The Sun National Bank Center is home to the Trenton Freedom and hosts nationally touring concerts, family shows, sporting events and community/business functions. The Arena has accommodations for up to 10,000 guests for concerts, seating for 9,000 for basketball and 8,100 for hockey games. There are 1,150 club seats and 34 private luxury suites.
