The Boys & Girls Clubs is a non-profit youth empowerment organization providing a variety of education and character enrichment programs.
The Newark branch organizes a number of workshops and activities that promote physical health, leadership development and cultural awareness. This organization annually awards scholarship to outstanding young community members in recognition for their community service and academic performance.
The club also runs a summer camp called Life Camp in a 100-acre campus in Pottsville, New Jersey. Camp registration forms are available on the website.
