This private music school in a quiet residential area offers one-on-one instruction in voice, violin, piano, flute and oboe. The students include many professional performers from the New York metropolitan area. Owner Jeanne Donato, a former concert violinist, and voice trainer Joan DeCaro comprise the faculty. The two women have also published a book on voice technique entitled, The Way to Sing: Secrets of Bel Canto. Donato explains that the book is based on techniques developed by a renowned voice teacher, the late Ugo DeCaro, and asserts that it is the rare person who can't learn to improve their singing voice with the help of this book.
