We establish the owner's leadership over their dog using non-physical methods without treats. Once leadership is established, the dog will fall in line underneath. For example, I'm not going to pull because the leader doesn't want me to. The lead dog always leads, so a pulling dog feels like they're in charge. Or, I'm not going to bark because the leader has this covered. A dog will bark either because they want attention, or there is a threat to the pack. The dog should only give an alert bark or two, and stop when the owner (leader) becomes aware of it. Using these methods there is typically 80-90% improvement the first lesson, no matter what the problem is. Having trained over 3,000 dogs I can safely say that I can help you with your dog and your situation
