History
I began offering doula services in the Boston area in 2011, added HypnoBirthing education in 2012, and began midwifery training with a wonderful practice in the Boston area in 2013. I completed midwifery school and additional clinical training at a busy birth center in New Hampshire in 2018 and received my NH license and National Association of Registered Midwives (NARM) certification that fall. I relocated my practice to New Jersey and became a NJ licensed midwife in the summer of 2019, and currently offer services in Central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.
Specialties
The midwifery model of care is all about supporting the unique individual in their health during the childbearing year, whether in the preconception or prenatal period, during labor and birth, or postpartum. I offer in-home midwifery services in the Central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvnia areas, includuing full prenatal care, lab work, support from two professional midwives during labor and birth (including water birth), and full postpartum care through six weeks. I also offer hospital based doula services. I strongly believe in equitable care, access to services, informed decision making, and pride myself in providing a holistic balance of traditional midwifery care and current evidence based practice.
