ASPIRA of New Jersey is an organization that aims to develop "the educational and leadership capacity of Hispanic youth." Its initiatives help persuade students to stay in school and help them to develop leadership skills, succeed in education, and serve their communities. It serves 85,000 students per year through a variety of clubs and guidance programs. It works with Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Mexican, Cubans, Central American, Haitians, African Americans, non-Hispanic whites, and many others.
