History
I completed my plastic surgery, general surgery, and burn residencies at Harvard, Cornell, and the University of Chicago and then performed a cosmetic surgery fellowship. After a short stint as a full-time professor, I'm now in private practice of cosmetic surgery in New Jersey and New York. I am also on the faculty of Columbia and Rutgers Universities, helping teach new doctors the techniques of cosmetic surgery. I spent a decade on New Jersey's State Board of Medical Examiners and have received awards for my clinical abilities, teaching, research, and public service. I've published many scientific papers and book chapters and have written 4 books, one of which was a NY Times best seller and was written with Drs. Mehmet Oz and Michael Roizen. I've hosted a plastic surgery radio show 6 pm Saturdays on WOR since 2005.
