Ahavat Achim was founded 25 years ago by a group of nine families wishing to increase their own levels of observance. The synagogue emphasizes a dedication to the values of modern Orthodox Judaism, while at the same time welcoming Jews of all backgrounds. The synagogue offers its own youth activities, as well as those through the National Council of Synagogue Youth, charitable activities, adult education, and special holiday programs.
