Dr. Adriana Suarez-Ligon is a board-certified general surgeon, certified by The American Board of Surgery, and a fellowship-trained breast surgeon, trained at Emory University School of Medicine, a Surgical Oncology (SSO) accredited breast fellowship. Her expertise is extensive in the comprehensive management of breast cancer, as well as benign breast disease and the management of patients at high risk for the development of breast cancer. Dr. Suarez-Ligon was born in Bronx, NY to Cuban parents and raised in Bergen County, NJ, where she now lives with her husband and two children. She received her undergraduate degree from Columbia University in 2002. She received her medical doctorate in 2009 from New Jersey Medical School, where she later completed her general surgery residency in 2015. Dr. Suarez-Ligon is an active member of The American Society of Breast Surgeons and The American College of Surgeons.
