Company Overview EcoTest Laboratories, Inc is an independent, environmental testing laboratory which was founded in 1977. The company was founded by and is owned and co-directed by Thomas Powell and Thomas Treutlein. EcoTest Laboratories, Inc is certified to perform environmental analysis in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. EcoTest is accredited in accordance with NELAC ( the National Environmental Laboratory Accreditation Conference ). EcoTest also has a U.S. Dept. of Agriculture permit to import soil samples for analysis. Data packages of various types are available including NYSDEC Category B and NJDEP "Reduced Deliverables" packages. Results are provided in Excel spreadsheets via email as well as pdf format and hardcopy.
