History
Kelley's was started 21 years ago by Brian Kelley. It was only a matter of a few years after graduating from Johnson & Wales University that Brian set his sights on an Old brick & beam Mill building in the heart of down town Dover that was right on the Cocheco river. For over twenty years they were a staple of the down town restaurant scene winning a number of awards such as Best Chowder at Hampton Beach Seafood Festival, Restaurant of the year 2014 Dover Main Street, Blue Ribbon Guinness Beef Stew to name a few. Kelley's is also know for being the first full service restaurant to bring live entertainment to the city and was the first restaurant to offer an extensive waterfront deck. Kelley's hosted the biggest events in town and nothing matched their St Patrick's Day Celebrations. Sadly in August of 2014 the bottom portion of Kelley's restaurant was flooded with sewerage from faulty work being done on a nearby development. Kelley's closed this location and reopened in Somersworth
