Monadnock Regional High School serves students in grades nine through 12. The school was established in 1962 and is located in Swanzey, N.H. It has several departments, including business education, physical education, English, science, social studies, guidance, mathematics, technology education, family and consumer science, and fine and performing arts. The world languages department offers various languages, such as French, Spanish, Latin and Russian. The special services department provides classes in functional math, language arts, life skills and school-to-career. The school additionally offers classes in jewelry making, painting, 3-D design, drama, modern dance, ceramics and sculptures, and arts and crafts. It provides a wide range of student services, such as nursing, driver s education, psychologists, free lunch, guidance, internships and library. The school is approved by the New Hemisphere Department of Education and the New England Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools.
