Established in 1924, the Goffstown Police Department is a law enforcement agency that protects residents lives, property and individual rights and maintains peace and order. It is internationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA). The department supports the Explorer Program, which is a worksite-based program for young men and women in the age group of 14 to 20. The Goffstown Police Department has a citizens police academy that provides training programs related to law, firearms instruction, defensive tactics, first aid, patrol procedures and investigations. It offers a variety of services to residents, businesses and visitors, such as concealed weapon permitting, fingerprinting, domestic violence help, and parking and traffic law enforcement. The Goffstown Police Department is located in Goffstown, N.H.
