I got my start in the construction field working with my father. My father was a heavy equipment operator who did finish carpentry as a sideline, so I guess I would say, I grew up in the field. I have been working in the field for the past 35 years. The two things I like best about my job are meeting new people and having a constantly changing work load. They say variety is the spice of life, and Handyman work sure provides that.
