Merrimack County Conservation District, founded in 1946, is a non-regulatory public agency that works with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. It works to help land owners and land users manage natural resources, soil, water and forest. The Merrimack County Conservation District regularly offers workshops, events, fundraisers and sales. It works with residents, businesses, government agencies and organizations throughout all 27 towns in Merrimack County.
