Matt Wineriter joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in March 2000, following a five-and-a-half-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of Captain. During this time, he served as a PATRIOT missile Air Defense Artillery officer in Germany. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Factors Engineering, Matt holds Series 6, 7, 63, 65, 24 and 26 securities licenses, plus state life, health, accident and property-and-casualty insurance licenses. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and holds the Chartered Financial Consultant designation and the Chartered Leadership Fellow designation. Understanding that the single most powerful contributor to financial well-being is behavior, Matt works closely with his clients to develop personalized financial plans that reflect their values, address their priorities and support their goals. Each plan includes recommendations for specific financial products and services to support those goals. And through ongoing planning to address changes in one's financial and personal circumstances, Matt is ready to assist clients as they pursue their goals through a lifetime financial journey. Matt is the assistant swim coach for the Lakes Region Wavemakers. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, playing hockey, reading, camping and hiking with his wife and four children.
