Senior pastor Mark Lowe helms the First Baptist Church, which was was founded in July of 1817 under the original name of the First Baptist Society. Bible study for all ages begins at 9:30am on Sunday followed by worship at 10:30am.
The church's food pantry is open each Monday from 9:30 am to noon and by appointment if you call to request it.
