Occupational Health and Wellness Management
HistoryWanda Wood first established OHWM (as Wanda Wood Associates) in 1982. As an RN with a fresh degree in human services, she was looking for an opportunity to combine her nursing background with human services. She began working with one local company, one day a week providing on-site services, including injury triage and regular blood pressure screenings, designed to save companies lost time and money on unnecessary medical visits and to provide early intervention in an increasingly sedentary workforce. Occupational Health and Wellness Management now works with organizations of all sizes, throughout NH, MA, VT, and ME, reaching close to 1,000 employees every week. Programs now include long-term health and wellness programs, designed and delivered by registered nurses, that are customized to meet the individual needs of the company and the employee while producing a positive impact in the areas of healthcare costs, productivity, morale, and attraction and retention.SpecialtiesOccupational Health and Wellness Management is a full service company that provides a knowledge and experience in the health care field to provide a positive return on investment by increasing productivity, reducing costs, maintaining regulatory compliance and enhancing and promoting health, wellness, and safety.
