Court Appointed Special Advocates of New Hampshire is a private, nonprofit organization that provides intervention and advocacy services for abused, abandoned and neglected children. The organization has more than 400 employees, including counselors, doctors and psychologists. Its volunteers include men, women, students, executives and retirees, who are appointed by the Juvenile Court to serve as advocates and mentors. With a location in Manchester, N.H., CASA of Orange County assists to find permanent houses for homeless children. The organization offers child care services for the victims of domestic violence and physical and drug abuse. It conducts various training programs for community volunteers. CASA of Orange County additionally provides educational and medical care services.
