Camp Tecumseh was founded in 1903 by Alexander Grant, George W. Orton and Josiah McCracken who are Olympians from the University of Pennsylvania. It is a nonprofit residential camp for boys between the ages of 8 and 16. The camp helps to enhance physical, spiritual, emotional and social skills in children. Camp Tecumseh s facilities include a dining hall, lodge, farmhouse, trunk room and opera house. Its athletic facilities feature soccer and football fields, basketball and tennis courts, climbing walls, and wrestling and archery areas. The camp organizes various sports activities, including football, lacrosse, soccer, street hockey, golf, and track and field. Camp Tecumseh also offers several water sports, such as water polo, canoeing, kayaking, sailing and beach volleyball. Located in Moultonboro, N.H., it is accredited by the American Camping Association.
