Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua offers five-core program initiatives including arts, sports and fitness, social skills, character development and leadership development and education and career development. Established in 1971, it offers a range of after school programs for children and disadvantaged youth ages six through 18. The club, based in Nashua, N.H., provides prevention programs for youth including gang, alcohol, drug, tobacco, teen sex and pregnancy prevention. It also offers after school homework help assistance, swimming and basketball, and serves more than 3,000 children and teenagers annually. Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua is affiliated with the national program of Boys and Girls Clubs of America.
