Established in 1951, Reno High School is operated by the Washoe County School District and is located in Reno, Nev. the high school serves more than 1,800 students in grades nine through 12 and offers a wide variety of academic and extracurricular programs. Its academic courses include English, business, science, English as a secondary language, mathematics, Spanish, social studies, computers, French, physical and special education, forensics and art. The high school offers a variety of clubs and organizations, including chess, environmental, forensics, debate, humanities, cheerleading and robotics clubs and the National Honor Society. It offers a variety of facilities, including a library, study hall, cafeteria, computer laboratories, studio, and counseling and career center. The high school prints various yearly publications, including a yearbook, newspaper, literary magazine and newsletter. It also offers various athletic activities, including football and soccer.
