Hood Machine, Inc was started in 1979 by Charles Hood in Sparks, Nevada. He provided machining services for the general public as well as several major customers. Over the years he has expanded his business to include ASME welding in 2002, and OD./Centerless grinding in 2003. He started with approximately 2, 000 sq ft, grew to the current 25, 000 sq ft, and has a future expansion due in early 2008 to 52, 000 sq ft. Hood Machine, Inc currently serves not only the local market, but customers in the Aircraft, Energy, Gaming and Mining industries.
