Located in Reno, Nev., the Nevada System of Higher Education provides higher education and job training services to residents of Nevada. The organization comprises two doctoral degree granting universities, comprehensive community colleges, a state college and an environmental research institute. The organization serves more than 100,000 students. Its schools offer various degree courses in electronics engineering technology, pharmacy, management, astronomy, occupational therapy, dance and international affairs. Its schools also provide classes in science and education, architecture, health physics, law, industrial plant mechanics and computer engineering. In addition, the schools offer degree courses in psychology, early childhood education, judicial studies, human services counseling, public administration, biomedical engineering, educational psychology and environmental science.
