History
Henderson Libraries' oldest location, the James I. Gibson Library first opened in March 1989 on Water Street in Downtown Henderson. The library moved to a brand-new 19,000 square foot building in the Lake Mead Crossing Shopping Center in July 2010. This facility features a drive-thru window for requested material, a computer lab, areas for children and teens, study rooms, and additional space for programs and other activities.
