History
I have been providing medical and surgical care for patients with diseases of the retina and vitreous in Las Vegas since 2005. From 2005 until 2015, I was in a group practice then I opened my own private practice in October 2015. There are very few female Retina Specialists in the United States and I am very fortunate to have been chosen from hundreds of applicants to train at the nation's top eye centers: UCLA's Jules Stein Eye Institute for residency and the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami for Vitreoretinal Fellowship. The additional 2 years of training as a Retina Specialist, beyond the 4 years after medical school for general ophthalmologists, means my area of expertise is diagnosis and treatment of any disorder that can cause blindness/vision loss. It is frightening to patients to lose eyesight and I make sure each patient's experience with me is both educational and hopeful.
