FRESH IS BEST Owners Ximena Acuna and Chris Taylor have been passionate about preparing healthy food since they met in 2003. Ximena has an extensive background in the industry including an education in Culinary Arts and Hotel / Restaurant management. Since then she has managed many different establishments in the Reno and Tahoe area, further developing her knowledge of the industry. Chris has worked in restaurants since his teenage years, learning all the different aspects of the kitchen and then moving into service. He has followed a path of acquiring knowledge on cleansing, detoxification, and learning how to prepare many raw & vegan dishes that are based more on vegetables than anything else.
