Since 1951, Clark County Credit Union of Las Vegas, has had a mission to help its members earn and keep more of their own money. As a not-for-profit organization, it is owned equally by its members who have accounts at the bank. The bank has a volunteer elected Board of Directors, all of whom are also regular members. Earnings go back to the members in the form of great rates and better services, rather than as profits for paid stockholders. And when the bank earns more than planned, it is returned to the members. Some members received hundreds, even thousands of dollars in bonus dividends, depending on their level of involvement at the credit union.
