Basic Food Flavors, founded in 1980, is one of the leading producers of hydrolysed vegetable protein in the United States, and serves both domestic and international markets. The company offers more than 120 different types of HVPs, which are glyceryl monooleate-free. Its products include beef application products, roast and savory chicken, and specialty items, such as roast onion, au jus, roast turkey, bacon, soy sauce, smoked ham. It provides both spray- and vacuum-dried HVPs. Its sales team is comprised of a local broker and distributor network worldwide. Basic Food Flavors has a more than 45,000-square-foot production facility, and is located in North Las Vegas, Nev.
