HistoryOmaha Artists, Glenn & Margie Trembley opened this gallery & studio situated at 183 Main Street in Springfield, NE, just outside of Omaha, just 6 miles from I-80. The historical building was constructed by Peter Kiewit, who the international firm,Peter Kiewit & sons was named after. He was a brick mason at the time. After retirement, Glenn, a corporate CEO and Margie, an Omaha business owner, ventured into an artististic patch, Glenn as a glass artist, and Margie as a fiber artist, turned couture milliner. Glenn teaches classes and Margie makes hats that are fashion statements. Their gallery also features works by local & area artists as well as two international artists. Events are held throughout the year.SpecialtiesWe specialize in one of a kind glass, fiber art, jewelry and millinery (ladies couture hats). We also feature works by 25 local, area and regional artists. Margie Trembley Chapeaux is located inside Springfield Artworks Gallery and Studio.
