Valley County Hospital, located in Ord, Neb., is a 25-bed critical access hospital, and is a member of the Nebraska Association of Hospitals and Health Systems. The hospital offers various services, such as outpatient services, acute care, 24-hour emergency room, hospice, radiology, coronary intensive care unit, wellness center and specialty clinics. Outpatient specialty clinics include cardiology; endoscopy; dietary; nuclear medicine; magnetic resonance imaging; orthopedics; ear, nose and throat; urology; cataract surgery; podiatry; and obstetrics and gynecology. The hospital also provides various home health care services, such as registered nurses; home health aides; physical and occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology.
