Pius X High School, located in Lincoln, Neb., was established in 1956 by Bishop Louis B. Kucera as the central Catholic high school. It provides the social, academic and spiritual needs for students, and teaches classes from nine through grade 12, and enrolls more than 1,000 students. Its curriculum includes business, English, fine arts, science, modern language, marketing, family and consumer science, math, religion and social studies. Pius X High School also provides a wide range of athletic activities, including cross-country, track and field, soccer, football, cheerleading, basketball, and softball. The school provides a wide range of programs and activities, such as clubs and organizations, ministry council, student council, newspaper, yearbook, band and chorus, food and transport services, and outdoor activities.
