Beautiful mosaic ceilings and floors, paintings and sculptures inside the 400-foot high capitol building are as impressive as its marble, bronze and gold leaf exterior and white tower topped by a bronze statue. Free guided tours are available.

In Lincoln on a Sunday and did not expect it to be open, but it was. The building is beautiful inside and out as well as the grounds. Would like to see some historical displays though.
