HistoryMy father owned an auto repair shop and part of his business was auto upholstery. When I was 15, he started me out rebuilding and making seat covers for the local farmer's trucks. As I progressed, he gave me more and more challenging projects to do and when I turned 17, I did my first complete interior restoration on a 1958 Ford Retractible followed by a 1958 Edsel Citation! In 1988, I left my father's business and went full time in my own auto upholster business. As years past, auto interiors have changed and I adapted to the new challenges. In today's vehicles with side air bags and heated & cooled seats, my skills have advanced with them but I still love the simplicity and also the complexity of the vintage and classic vehicles.SpecialtiesI have over 45 year experience in the auto, truck & boat upholstery industry. We do seat upholstery, headliners, convertible tops, carpet and side panels and anything involving automotive upholstery. Custom or stock and everything in between. We specialize in OEM matching of leather, cloth & vinyl for all US & foreign vehicles going back to the 1920's. I use multiple sources to locate these materials and have the original Detroit sample books from 1960 to present. Quality of our craftsmanship at a reasonable price is our mission.
