Established in 1917, Druid Hill Elementary offers learning opportunities for students in kindergarten through grade six. The school provides special education classes for students with learning disabilities. It offers several extracurricular activities, such as basketball and instrumental and vocal music. The school provides the English as a Second Language and Title I programs, as well as gifted and talented education classes. Druid Hill Elementary is a part of Omaha Public Schools, which offers educational opportunities for more than 46,000 students through various elementary, middle and high schools. Omaha Public Schools schools offer classes in art, English, math, physical education, social studies, science and industrial technology.
