Douglas-Omaha Technology Commission, also known as DOT.Comm, was formed as a merger of the city of Omaha and Douglas County Information Services departments. It was created through an interlocal agreement to restructure all city s and county s technology functions under an independent technology commission. DOT.Comm streamlines technology throughout the city and county to offers a prompt service to government agencies and taxpayers. The commission operates County's Public Access Network that has been developed to allow public access to county records through the use of teleprocessing equipment and personal computers. It provides fast access to real property, document filings, court-related information and voter registration. DOT.Comm is located in Omaha, Neb.
