Exploring the Upper Musselshell Museum is like prowling around in someone's attic or barn. Be careful, though. You may run into a full-size replica of a dinosaur skeleton found in nearby Shawmut or a horse drawn hearse with a special passenger! There are also several collections of minerals, fossils and bones! As well as a brand new Nez Perce Display, and a Plains Indian exhibit complete with arrowheads, clothing, artifacts, weapons and story boards to explain it all. The two-story sandstone building, constructed prior to 1909, are filled with treasures that belonged to the people who lived in, worked, and developed the Upper Musselshell River country.
