HistoryI started in this industry in 1982 during the height of the Aerobics craze as an Aerobics Teacher. As a Special Ed Teacher I taught for a few years but couldn't find a permanent job. In 1989 I decided to be the first Personal Trainer in my town and Bodies by Bender was born. I drove from home to home for the first two years and saved enough money to open my own studio. Within 7 years I went from 1 employee and 20 clients to 4 employees and 60 clients. In 2008 I changed my business model and went back to what I love one on one training and teaching. I love teaching Meditation and working with businesses. As a trainer I know exactly how to get each individual to their body/mind goal and because my training style is holistic, each clients session is based on body, mind and soul. I believe that the human body is meant to move, fueled by clean organic food and controlled by a focused, stress free mind.SpecialtiesLaura is a Master Personal Trainer with over 30 years experience.She is well known for her ability to create personal mind/body fitness sessions thar create amazing bodies and emotionally intelligent minds. Laura is has the most effective lower body programs in her town, which is why she is highly sought after by local and national celebrities. After studying extensively with Dr. Deepak Chopra, Laura started adding mindfulness and yoga to her personal sessions and in 2012 created Montana's first yoga/meditation program for youth inmates in the Missoula Youth Detention Center. You can train with Laura at home or in her studio.
