City of Billings Public Works provides essential services to the residents of Billings, Mont., and is divided into four divisions. The engineering division is responsible for subdivision reviews, site plan reviews, storm water management, preventive street maintenance, traffic accessibility study reviews, traffic control projects, street light design and traffic engineering, as well as the design, inspection and review of right-of-way construction projects. The solid waste division administers residential and commercial refuse collection and operates the Billings regional landfill.
