History
Dr. Lexi Tabor-Manaker opened Glacier Direct Primary Care in March 2018 after recognizing that she wasn't giving her patients what she wanted due to the paperwork involved with documentation, coding, and billing. Direct primary care is part of a movement in Montana and across the country to return medicine to its roots: the doctor-patient relationship. We provide high-quality affordable, transparent, and personalized health care through same-day visits, extended appointment times, access to the doctor by phone, email, and text, and even house calls. Dr. Tabor-Manaker sees fewer patients and does less paperwork, which allows her to spend more quality time doing what she does best - taking care of you and your health concerns.
Specialties
Are you looking for affordable, transparent, and personalized health care with direct access to your doctor? Then Glacier Direct Primary Care is for you! As a member Glacier DPC, Dr. Tabor-Manaker will strive to see you within 24 hours when possible. In addition, you will have direct access to her via phone, text, or email. Here are just a few of the services that are provided: wellness exams, urgent care visits, significantly discounted blood work and skin biopsies, laceration repair, chronic disease management, mental health and wellness, women's wellness, including pap smears, accompanying patients to appointments with specialists, in-house rapid strep, urine analysis, pregnancy tests, and more. One of the goals of direct primary care is to ensure improved health outcomes for our patients while lowering the overall cost of their health care. Instead of going through insurance and charging co-pays, Glacier DPC charges patients a low monthly fee that covers all visits, preventive screenings, and most other primary care services. Labs and pathology are offered to patients at a significantly discounted rate. Dr. Tabor-Manaker also negotiates lower prescription prices at a local pharmacy. That way, patients who have insurance can use it as needed, including for big-ticket items such as hospitalizations, advanced imaging exams, and surgery. Those who don't have insurance get quality primary care at an affordable price.
