Bozeman Fire Department basic emergency medical care and fire rescue services to the Montana community. Its staff provides fire code inspections, code enforcement and fire safety survival education programs to the public. The department is responsible for fire suppression, arson investigation, hazardous materials mitigation, disaster management and wild land firefighting. The Bozeman Fire Department is licensed at the advanced life support nontransporting level. Its paramedics provide critical prehospital invasive procedures, including intubation, intravenous fluid and medication administration, defibrillation with cardio version and external pacing. The department s firefighters are trained to use specialized equipment and techniques to rescue victims involved in emergencies, and responds to motor vehicle crashes on a daily basis. Its more than 30 employees provide fire and life-safety services to the community 24-hours, 365-days a year.
