Great Falls Human Resources
The Great Falls Police Department provides law enforcement services, promotes public safety and protects the rights and property of residents in Great Falls, Mont. The patrol division is responsible for answering calls for service, patrolling assigned areas, investigating motor vehicle collisions, enforcing traffic and criminal statutes, and completing written reports and other documents as required. The detective division includes general case detectives, street crime detectives, school resource officers, violent/sex offender detectives and sex crime detectives. Other divisions within the department include traffic enforcement, the K-9 unit, special weapons and tactics team, support services and the 911 dispatch center. The Great Falls Police Department has approximately 120 civilian and uniformed employees.
