History
In 1991, Village Board of Directors was incorporated in Florissant, MO. An Antique & Collectible Shop was opened, staffed by 30 volunteers, who cleaned, priced and sold donated goods.. The goal was to find property and establish homes and employment for people with special needs. In 1997 the Village Board of Directors purchased 60 wooded acres with a 5 bedroom home overlooking the Mississippi River. The home was converted into a full service Restaurant and three cozy B&B rooms. We built two shops, the Red Barn Antique & Collectible Shop and the Flea Market Barn which also offer employment for our residents. We then built two homes for our residents with special needs. The Lodge Restaurant opened to the public in 2000 . Our customers praise the panoramic views, the delicious food and our gentle caring staff. Please come visit!
