State Bank of Missouri, with assets of more than $55 million, is a chartered financial institution that serves customers in Jackson and Lafayette counties in Missouri. Its parent company, C.S. Bancshares, is a multi-bank holding company based in Chillicothe, Mo. C.S. Bancshares is the parent company to Chillicothe State Bank in Chillicothe; State Bank of Missouri in Concordia, Mo.; and The State Bank in Richmond, Mo. Chillicothe State Bank was founded in 1937 and has three offices in Chillicothe. State Bank of Missouri was founded in 1884 as Alma Bank, and has two offices in Grain Valley and one each in Concordia and Alma. The State Bank was founded in 1940 as Hardin State Bank and has its lone office in Richmond. Combined, the banks offer customers a variety of bank products and services, including traditional deposit services, loans, CDs, IRAs, investment services, business banking and Internet banking.
