History
The public library was opened in December 1938, evolving from a small, volunteer-staffed library organized by the Sikeston Women's Club. Major expansions to the library facility took place in the early 1960s, and again in the mid-1990s.
Specialties
The Sikeston Public Library offers traditional library services. In addition, we provide e-books and downloadable audiobooks, computer access, Wi-Fi, and passport photographs/application processing.
