Consider Purina Farms your personal pet place! Located on more than 300 acres of rolling hills right outside of St. Louis, Purina Farms, home to the Visitor Center and the Purina Event Center, offers guests of all ages an opportunity to get up close and personal with barnyard animals and performing pets at the Visitor Center as well as distinguished purebred dogs and pedigreed cats at the Purina Event Center. Families will find lots of FREE activities at the Visitor Center including a hayloft play area, cow-milking demonstrations, tractor-drawn wagon rides and exciting canine performances of flying disc, agility and diving dog that feature rescued dogs from around the country. Educational exhibits and hands-on activities teach kids about responsible pet care, the history of Purina and the process for making pet food. Visitors can also browse unique items in the Purina Farms gift shop and enjoy a snack at the concession stand. At select times throughout the year, Purina Farms hosts holiday-themed special events including the annual Springtime Village in March or April where we welcome all of our baby animals to the world and then Haunted Hayloft in October. Purina Farms is also the place to go for memorable birthday parties that include kids meals, customized cupcakes and special recognition for the birthday boy or girl during the daily canine performances. Admission and parking are FREE unless when noted. The Visitor Center is open seasonally mid-March through mid-November, but closed all major Holidays. At the Purina Event Center, a state-of-the-art indoor facility designed to host a variety of canine and feline competitions from conformation shows to performance trials such as obedience, agility and flyball, spectators can witness some of the most prestigious dog and cat events in the country year-round.
